I want to go back home rite now. I miss SUN. Heat. Family. AC. Doggy. Dry green color of trees and red luminous dunes.

I feel like a stranger. In a strange country. Which is very true btw.

Agusto .. I Truely Hate You.

How bad can one feel

How bad can one feel

For the love of the moment

Its so quite out here.. Adorably quite. Dark.. Only lights of the moon and the city of Beyrouth, down stairs.. Fresh air smells.. Something like lavendar?

All I hear is the motor’s humming .. Supplying electricity to the four storey building.. I was watching a movie, with someone -let’s call them special- when the signal suddenly was lost. It’s normal here.

I walked around the balcony to discover that the smell of the lavnedar is coming from our neighbours’ laundry. Huh!

I knew it was too strong for a real lavendar tree :) funny world

Night Aley!

Night Aley!

Morning Aley!

Morning Aley!

So I decided to make my iPhone useful for the trip tonight. I started watching Gossip Girl (yay me) two days ago as I officially have NOthing to do, except getting ready for the trip (as far as I remember.)
Hence, Gossip girl will go to my iPhone videos list, but the question is, HOW?
all the episodes I have are in AVI format, and I need to convert them to either MP4 or M4V to be able to iTune them.
First I had to find a converter for Windows, these are the ones I found with a brief review:
- Handbreak:
pros: free, open-source, has multiple presets for compact devices
cons: requires microsoft .NET framework to work on Windows.

- Avex Software, Videora:
cons: Shareware crap, enncodes only 5 minutes of the video
- 4MEDIA
cons: Shareware, encodes first 5 mins only, the output screen size options are not for iPhone and cannot be modified.
- iReverter
pros: free, open-source, small size
cons: it’s in JNLP format, requires some stuff like OpenJNLP. That didn’t open it.
- WinFF
pros: free, open-source, simple interface, many options for screen size and output and it ACTUALLY WORKS!
cons: none yet
WinFF is based on FFMPeg conversion software. Select “convert to..” iPod-iTunes, change “device preset” to iPod widescreen.
Wait for some time and then drag that into iTunes and Sync your video..

I wonder if upgrading to OS 3.0 will allow me to use my sim.. I got my iPhone before Etisalat officially delivered it, so mine is “jailbroken” just to have it work with my Etisalat SIM.  Now it’s official and all.. I just don’t know if its going to work or not..
